AID Review Romania

Established almost a decade ago as a joint initiative of the University of Bucharest’s Centre for International Cooperation and Development Studies (IDC) and the Romanian Association of International Cooperation and Development (ARCADIA) in partnership with the Romanian NGDO platform (FOND Romania), AID Review Romania is an annual exercise of evaluation of official development aid, humanitarian assistance and sustainability in which all the major stakeholders in the field (governmental, civil society, business, academic) discuss the local, European and global trends and challenges in development cooperation, humanitarian relief and sustainability, aiming to identify how they can also coordinate better their efforts.

What does Ukraine need beyond military aid? How can Romania help? Which are the current local, European and global perspectives on development cooperation, humanitarian aid and sustainability? How can African countries' achievements be also more visible in the global cooperation landscape? And how does media and information literacy contribute to all these? Join us for debating these and similar topics at the 2022 edition of AID Review Romania, which is followed by a special Tea with a Diplomat session, marking the UN Day, the World Development Information Day and the UNESCO Global Media and Information Literacy Week.
